At Westgarth Music School, we make learning musical instruments and vocal training engaging, fun, simple, fast and effective for our students.

Our founder Paul Westgarth played four instruments at the age of nine and has mastered the art of understanding and playing music in various environments.

We offer a unique approach to learning, with hands on support available at every stage. We work with our students to build on what they already know, with every lesson aimed at getting them one step closer to their desired goal. 

Our students are supported to play their instruments or sing at the level they’ve always aspired to. Our key focus is to build and strengthen technique, and confidence.

We also offer a range of coaching for churches and choir singers who want to grow in their skill, attain excellence in their craft and move into a deeper experience in their expression of worship.

There are several training materials we usually recommend for students to purchase at their will. We advise students learning any instrument to have their personal musical instruments to facilitate their learning. If needed, we can give professional advice to help find the right musical instrument.

All our teachers are DBS checked and certified to work with children and vulnerable adults.
